Resident Evil has had its shares of ups and downs over the years, but ever since the disappointing releases of both Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil 6 in 2012, the franchise has been in serious need of an overhaul. It’s taken a long time, but Capcom is finally set to push the reset button with the release of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, which represents a dramatic shift for the series as a whole. Rather than continue with the action-heavy gameplay and cheesy narratives of more recent entries, RE7 is looking to return the series to its survival horror roots with a more grounded approach to enemy design and a dramatic switch to first-person perspective.
For many wrestling fans, the Royal Rumble is one of their favorite moments of the year. The chaos and storytelling (when done right) of a 30-man, over-the-top-rope battle royal is the perfect way to kick off the Road to Wrestlemania. And of course, every year the WWE surprises fans with a couple of head-turning entries that make for some mark out moments.
Have you ever been watching a Five Star match on PPV and thought to yourself, “Man, I wish I could get a better view of this — like, maybe from inside the ring!” Well, good news. The WWE is working on using virtual reality technology to give fans an additional element of being immersed in the show.
It’s Royal Rumble season, folks, which means one thing – it’s time to start looking at all those crazy stats from the storied 30 year history of the January classic.

The Nintendo Switch has officially been unveiled and based on the fact that initial pre-orders sold out pretty much everywhere, it’s safe to say that the console will be a hit when it launches on March 3rd. That being said, as much as I think there’s a lot to like about the Switch, I’m a bit worried about its long term prospects (and I say this as someone who pre-ordered the thing as soon as it became available).
Ryback certainly has been vocal since his WWE contract expired earlier this year, and his podcast, Conversations With The Big Guy, have quickly evolved into a regular forum for Ryback to expound upon how WWE prevented him from becoming the biggest star in the company, as well as any other grudges he might have. This week, John Cena has become the target of his ire, as the Big Guy seems to feel that John Cena has spent his career standing in the path of every single wrestler trying to make it to the top in WWE, especially Ryback.
Add one more game to the Nintendo Switch’s low number of confirmed launch titles, as Super Bomberman R has been officially announced for a March 3rd release.
