E3 is slowly wrapping up and during the expo we’ve seen a ton of great new video game titles. We’ve compiled a list of the very best video games that were announced at this year’s event in the video above.

The Last of Us was a huge success when it first debuted on the PlayStation 3. Since then, gamers have been eagerly awaiting to dive back into the world with beloved characters Joel and Ellie. One of the big reveals that Sony showcased during their E3 press conference was The Last of Us: Part II gameplay trailer. This was the first look at some actual gameplay footage for the upcoming title.
The Dragon Ball franchise continues to bring in new fans regularly and with such a massive fan base, there are plenty of video games being developed regularly. One of the latest titles to release under the franchise was Dragon Ball FighterZ. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was the last title unveiled from Ubisoft’s press conference. We know that the game will be set in ancient Greece during 431 BCE. Historically, this puts players in the brewing battle between Athens and Sparta and while the game will sport all the various mechanics and features that the Assassin’s Creed franchise is known for, there will be some new twists.
CD Projekt Red is best known for their The Witcher series. The three installments grew into a worldwide phenomenon, but since the third installment has closed, gamers have been looking forward to new details regarding the development studio’s next major project, Cyberpunk 2077. Until this year’s E3 expo, very few details have been shared to gamers.
God of War has been a well-received video game. The title launched in April of this year for the PlayStation 4 as the story pinned Kratos with Norse mythology. Now that the E3 conferences have wrapped up, we’re slowly gaining new information to past announcements and updates. For instance, during Sony’s E3 press conference it was announced that God of War would receive a New Game+ mode but details regarding the mode were scarce.
As expected, Nintendo officially announced the next entry in the long-running crossover fighting series Super Smash Bros. during their E3 presentation Tuesday. Called Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the big takeaway from the presentation is that the game will feature a roster of 66 fighters, with every fighter from previous installments included. Of course, it was a big ask of Nintendo for fans to sit through a long-winded showcase that went into detail about every change they’ve implemented to every character, so some are probably wondering what else there is to the new game other than the expanded roster.
