Many gamers have been in an uproar when it comes to female representation in the historic shooters Battlefield 1 and the upcoming Battlefield V. The narrative has mainly been centered around the historical inaccuracy of the representation, and it’s a contrast to other ‘realistic’ representations of the World Wars the studio pushes.
Following the same footsteps of other open-world RPG such as The Witcher 3 and Breath of The Wild, the upcoming PS4 exclusive, Days Gone, will feature a seamless open-world – this means no load times! This news was revealed recently at the Sony’s E3 2018 panel whereby Sony Bend’s developers were on stage to talk about the game. In addition to the seamless world, the devs also added that all the buildings interiors are accessible so you can explore each location in full detail.
As you might recall, when Rocket League announced cross-play last year, Sony was adamant about not supporting cross-play between rival console – and when Fortnite cross-play was revealed earlier this year, Sony maintained it’s stance. Now with the announcement of Fortnite on Nintendo Switch, some hopeful fanboys have been hoping that just maybe Sony would feel a little generous to Nintendo Switch owners.
