Demonic invasion isn’t just coming to Earth in Doom Eternal – it’s also coming to your campaign. You’ll be able to take control of a demon and invade other players’ games, lending some extra spice to the war between Earth and Hell once Doom Eternal launches. The feature will, of course, be optional – but if you want the added challenge of other players, you’ll have it.
During QuakeCon 2018, the expo unveiled a few video game titles and announcements onto the world. One of which is that the development team has acquired a new studio in Dallas, Texas. The studio is now known as Bethesda Game Studios Dallas, other otherwise known as Bethesda Dallas.
The QuakeCon 2018 gameplay reveal for Doom Eternal is here. The folks at id say they want the Doom Marine to be its most powerful hero ever, and the gameplay snippets they showed certainly support that assertion. Appropriate, because this game is definitely going Hell on Earth.
We’ve gotten another look at Rage 2 gameplay courtesy of QuakeCon 2018. In a downright Rockstar style, the new footage showcases gameplay narrated by a friendly announcer running down the game’s new features, as we get a look at some background info for the world and one of the game’s quests.

It looks like Intel is taking its driver game a little more seriously nowadays. The semiconductor company has just released driver version 188.8.131.5226 (catchy, I know) to improve performance with the iGPUs bundled inside its popular processors in some of today’s top games.
Quake Champions is now fully free-to-play, “permanently.” After an array of free weekends and deep discounts, the Quake revival is now completely free, and will be that way forever. Exact details on the post free-to-play monetization model aren’t here yet, but you’ll be able to get the full unlock Champion pack for less than $20.
