When Konami announced that it would be re-releasing two of its most beloved games in one package, there was much rejoicing by the retro gaming enthusiasts among us. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood have long been considered hallmarks of the medium, and now they’re being bundled and re-released as Castlevania Requiem. New footage of the highly anticipated remake of Resident Evil 2 has been showcased thanks to an IGN exclusive.
One of the biggest surprises from this year’s E3 was the existence of a new Battletoads game. Microsoft made the announcement during its press conference, and while it didn’t include any gameplay footage, the self-aware teaser did promise “broad, non-specific feature declarations,” in addition to “body morphing genre mashups,” whatever that is.

Capcom’s Monster Hunter World received its title 2 update earlier this week, kicking off the Autumn Harvest Fest, giving players a free character edit token, adding new graphical options and more.
Remedy Entertainment, known for their work on Quantum Break, Alan Wake and Max Payne franchises, are getting a little creative with Control. The game gives players the chance to play as Jesse Faden, as she embarks on a journey to unravel the mysteries of the supernatural abilities she has and to escape from The Oldest House.

However, arguably one of the biggest franchises that the developer spawned into the world was Metal Gear Solid.
