Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the latest game from the creators of the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, is one of the best games of the year right now – and players seem to agree. Not only has the game sold well on PC, it’s tracking at around 125,000 concurrent users on Steam – which makes it the biggest launch of any game on Steam this year so far.

Former Obsidian writer Chris Avellone has some harsh words to share with his former company over its choice to take an exclusivity deal with Epic, putting The Outer Worlds on their store – and keeping it off of Steam, at least for a year.
The reveal of Google Stadia last week was a potential sneak-peek of the future of gaming, where all our games are streamed, and we just have to worry about internet connections rather than better graphics cards. However, the main concern players have about any sort of game streaming service is input lag. Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, the third major expansion for Square Enix’s MMO, is due out this July. At a festival today in Tokyo, the publisher revealed a lot more information about the new content coming in Shadowbringers, including the announcement of the Dancer job class. However, this reveal has not received the welcome Square Enix may have expected, as fans are disappointed that Dancer appears to be a combat class.

yuzu Git (2019/03/24) is complied. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.…More
