The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was officially unveiled earlier today, and the first looks focused heavily on the grim and gritty single-player campaign. But there are still two more segments to the game. We can probably guess at the broad strokes of traditional multiplayer, but the cooperative mode that forms Modern Warfare’s third pillar is a bit more mysterious.

Years ago it would have been unheard of for Xbox console video game exclusives to release on the PC platform. For instance, it was a means to get players to adopt Microsoft’s consoles in order to enjoy the exclusive video game titles but that has since changed.
