The major innovation everyone’s talking about from E3 2019 might be Ubisoft’s playable NPCs, but the many characters you can occupy need a place to live, sleep, and work in, after all. Thankfully for them, Watch Dogs Legion’s London setting seems to have plenty of space for them.

We’re still a few months away from the release of Borderlands 3, which means it’s the perfect time to revisit Borderlands 2. That could mean checking out that new DLC, just running through a vanilla replay, or digging into some Borderlands 2 mods. Todd Howard, director at Skyrim and Fallout studio Bethesda, has just revealed that he would maybe have got online multiplayer RPG Fallout 76 off the ground a little differently looking back, saying he had one main regret – he wishes the studio had done a longer beta.
The original Darksiders ended with one of the most memorable cliffhangers in that generation of gaming. Spoiler warning for 2010, but the ending set up a sequel where all four Horsemen of the Apocalypse would join forces and wreak havoc. Nvidia has said that its Turing GPU architecture “remains the most power efficient GPU on the planet at 12nm”, asserting that its architecture is still superior to AMD’s in performance per watt. That’s despite the red team’s jump to the latest and greatest 7nm process node from TSMC with AMD RX 5700 GPUs – a move that net the RDNA architecture greater power efficiency.
The maintenance of balance has, and will always be, a problem when it comes to The Avengers. How do you fit in all the necessary characters and give them their chance in the spotlight and also tell a good story? In The Avengers game, it’s power that’s the issue: the question of spreading power evenly between each hero has led to some curious design decisions. For instance, a god can be just as powerful as a human assassin.
