World of Warcraft players planning to jump into WoW Classic can now reserve slots on servers ahead of the official launch later this month, and one server is proving so popular that Blizzard expects login queues of more than 10,000 players for it.
There’s a big announcement about the Age of Empires franchise coming up this week from Gamescom in Germany, and it’ll be part of the Inside Xbox showcase presented by Microsoft.

Respawn Entertainment has issued an apology for the way it set up the Iron Crown limited-time collection event in Apex Legends, which made loot boxes – Apex Packs – the only way to obtain certain exclusive items. Epic is opening up a new studio in Cologne, Germany, and the location will be manned by the founding members of Factor 5, the German studio probably best known for the classic action space shooter, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. Epic Games Cologne will be focused on “emerging forms of interactive media and streaming technologies.”
