Minecraft will soon have a proper, in-game character creator, but you can already play with the new feature yourself courtesy of the latest beta release. This is a Bedrock Edition feature, so you’ll need to be opted into the usual Insider build for access, but once you’re in, you’ll find a new option on the character select that lets you build a custom avatar.

As a massive Steam sale for Everything is underway, Everything is going to be free on the Epic Games store.
September 19, 2019 Remnant: From the Ashes’ new dungeon is live.
When it comes to NBCUniversal, chances are you didn’t know that they even published video game titles, but then again, the division from NBC wasn’t around long enough to warrant enough games to make its way out to see if it stood a chance as a solid publisher. After two years have gone by, NBCUniversal has decided to close the publishing division. Now instead of potentially reaping more of the funds of a successful game release, the company will be licensing their properties out to developers and publishers.
The Epic Games Store has received plenty of hate from the online gaming community. It’s a big competitor against Valve’s Steam platform though it does not offer as many bells and whistles. That’s to be expected as it’s still new into the market and Epic Games is continuing to make updates adding more features into the marketplace platform. However, before you go writing off the Epic Games Store, there is at least one incentive to download the marketplace client and logging in each week and that’s the free video game titles being offered.
Developer Reef Entertainment has announced this morning their latest title — Terminator: Resistance.
Sony has been following the same trend as Nintendo lately. With Nintendo leaving E3, the company has been relying more on the Nintendo Direct uploads which are essentially condensed presentations. These video uploads are often randomly uploaded online for viewers to sit through and watch, but much like Nintendo Sony has opted to do something similar. Known as the State of Play, Sony uploads a livestream presentation to alert viewers of what video games and content is coming down the pipe. Today Sony has stated that their next State of Play will be uploaded on September 24, 2019.
