Yes, Call of Duty: Warzone fans, relief is here – the Snake Shot nerf has finally landed. One of the more unexpected announcements among the Inside Xbox news today was the debut of Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus – a new action-RPG from the “minds behind the iconic Tales of Vesperia.” It’s a dash of post-apocalyptic anime where you control a psychic soldier who’s part of humanity’s last line of defence against mutant monsters.
After our cinematic first look at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft has provided our first look at gameplay – or, rather, in-game cinematic footage at this year’s Inside Xbox online showcase. The clip doesn’t show us much in terms of what the game will play like, but it sure looks nice – and there’s plenty more of the upcoming Viking epic to eyeball.
We’ve gotten a fresh look at Yakuza: Like A Dragon – and while the game’s already out in Japan and there’s not much new to be revealed, the new trailer does give as a bigger look at the English version of the game, which will hit Xbox Series X and PC at launch.
The Medium is a psychological horror game coming courtesy of Bloober Team – the folks behind previous horror games like Layers of Fear, Observer, and Blair Witch. You’ll play as the titular medium, Marianne, and move between the natural and spiritual worlds to get more perspective on the characters and setting around you.
We’ve gotten a fresh look at Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 thanks to a brief new trailer for the game that’s debuted at this year’s Inside Xbox online showcase. Titled ‘Come Dance’, offers us a cinematic glimpse at Hardsuit Labs’ upcoming action-RPG up close – and an idea of what the Seattle vampire underworld will bring when the game’s release date rolls around sometime in late 2020.
Yeah, we thought this was an Alien game, too – but apparently not! It is, instead, Scorn, the forthcoming horror shooter game from Ebb Software. The latest trailer wears Ebb’s Giger influences on its moist, fleshy sleeve and exudes the disconcertingly sexualised dread that the Swiss painter was known for.
Dirt 5 is official, and it looks terrific on next-gen hardware. Codemasters teased the debut of a brand-new Dirt experience recently, and this is our first look at it – the game is being developed by a separate development team from the one which made Rally – and a third Dirt Rally title is also on the way at some point in the future.
