The Resident Evil franchise has had a trend lately to bring the series back to its humble survival horror roots. After the success the studio had with Resident Evil 7, the development team decided to go ahead and bring a remake to Resident Evil 2. That proved to be not only a hit but more people were enjoying this remake than there was when the game originally launched back on the PlayStation. To keep the momentum going the studio remade Resident Evil 3 as well and while it didn’t hit the same numbers as Resident Evil 2, it still proved to be quite a popular video game.

The latest Apex Legends trailer reveals a fresh look at Season 5, and in addition to the usual new character and map changes, it looks like we’re getting a whole new way to play the game, too. Nintendo has a long line of IPs and iconic video game titles. Most of those games are firmly kept in control by Nintendo though it’s not too surprising to see fans take their time to craft up a fan game using the Nintendo owned IP. However, most often these games get killed off before they are able to release into the market by Nintendo. While some companies are a bit more relaxed on fans working on a passion project, Nintendo has not been one to really let that happen too often. This is likely why the development for a proper PC port of Nintendo 64’s iconic Super Mario 64 was kept in secret.
We’re all going through this big health pandemic right now. It’s something that will go into the history books as so many of us are locked in quarantine, forced to practice our social distancing from others while having to wear masks and gloves when traveling to get the essential goods required to further stay home for long periods of time. Still, this is also a strain for a ton of people as you can easily start getting cabin fever. Whether you are stuck at home with nothing to do or working remotely with children, there is a real need for some type of entertainment to keep your spirits up and the mind of the pandemic.
The health pandemic right now is still a massive issue. There are markets infected everywhere and it caused most of us to be locked in quarantine, unable to freely go about our days as normal. While we wait for this virus pandemic to be over, we’re still seeing more and more events get killed off this year. For the video game industry, we’ve seen cancellations and postponements for several events from the likes GDC to E3. However, we can now add another event to that list and it’s the Tokyo Game Show.
Chance of The Flare Path appearing today: 0-5%*. Chance that you’ll nod off while reading the following turn tale: 40-50%. Yesterday’s wanton bloodletting seems to have satisfied Connor’s bloodlust for the time-being and cowed the Comment Commanders somewhat. In the sixty seconds of CM combat footage I’ve just watched, little ammo was expended and no-one – well, almost no-one – got hurt.
