Xbox Series X Won’t Have Any Exclusive Games For First Few Years



Xbox boss Phil Spencer has reiterated that Xbox Series X won’t have any exclusives games for its first couple of years on the market. This won’t be due to a lack of games, but because for the next couple of years, all exclusive games from Xbox and its studios will also release on Xbox One. According to Phil Spencer, he doesn’t want Xbox fans to have an expensive new gaming machine right away in order to play exclusive games like Halo Infinite and Hellblade II. read more

Here’s a Metal Gear Solid 5 mod that makes shadows much nicer


Sure, plenty of us are ogling over Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, which has finally gotten a PC port – and a damn good one, at that. But 2015’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still a pretty decent-looking game at times, even if it tends to look a bit dusty and flat out in the mountains of Afghanistan. Part of that is due to how near to the player the Fox Engine stops drawing shadows, and now there’s a fix that can make scenes pop nicely without doing a number on your performance. read more

Fae Tactics launches July 31st


If you think “ah yes, Final Fantasy Tactics” when you look at Fae Tactics, I suspect that’s totally its intention. Everything about it reminds me of being huddled up in the back seat of my mother’s van with my nose against the screen of a Game Boy Color being absolutely stymied by the logistics of vertical tactical battles. Dying Light’s Hellraid DLC has been pushed back to August


The Hellraid DLC for Dying Light has been delayed, but don’t worry: it’s just for a couple weeks. Developer Techland has announced that the expansion will now launch August 13 on PC, and that it plans on making some adjustments based on players’ reaction to the recent Hellraid beta. read more
