Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5 Download Sizes Revealed

Updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone have always required large amounts of storage space, and season 5 will be no exception. According to Activision and Infinity Ward, required storage space will range from 34-54 GB, depending on platform. PlayStation 4 will require 33.9 GB, Xbox One will require 49.8 GB, and PC will require 54.2 GB for Modern Warfare owners, or 47.4 GB for those that only own Warzone. With season 5 set to launch on August 5th, fans will definitely want to make sure they have space ahead of the latest update’s arrival! read more


League of Legends skips patch 10.17 as Riot takes “a week off”

Riot is taking a week off. That means a number of updates for the studio’s big games are going to shift around as the developers take some R&R time, including League of Legends. Basically, League of Legends patch 10.17 is getting skipped over (almost) entirely, so we’ll be moving pretty much straight from League of Legends patch 10.16 to 10.18, with just a relatively small number of balance changes in between. read more


Tombstar is a six-shootin’ roguelite from the creator of Crossy Road

Why did the game developer cross the road? To make a living, probably, but after traversing dozens of mobile highways it’s about time to look to the stars. Announced earlier today, Tombstar sees Crossy Road developer Andy Sum team up with designer Marcus Grambau in ditching the sidewalk to pick up a sci-fi six-shooter sometime this year. Take-Two CEO Says Not All Next-Gen Games Will Cost $70

In an earnings call with investors, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick addressed the controversial $70 MSRP for NBA 2K21 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While the current gen versions of the game will retail for $60, the game will cost players $70 on next-gen hardware. This has led to concerns that $70 will become the new norm for PS5 and Xbox Series X software, but Zelnick claims that prices will be decided for Take-Two’s games on a case-by-case basis. However, the CEO did state that an industry-wide increase in software pricing has been long overdue. read more
