The Elder Scrolls 6’s Latest Update May Not Be What Some Fans Wanted to Hear

A new update on The Elder Scrolls VI may not be what some fans wanted to hear from the highly-anticipated. Since its initial announcement in 2018, we’ve seen and heard nothing about the game. We don’t have a release date or even platforms, though many have been assuming it will be on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. GameFly Gets Sold, Has Plans to Change Subscriptions

GameFly, the subscription service best known for sending out games to its customers through mail so they can try games new and old, has been sold. Alliance Entertainment is now the owner of GameFly, a company that markets itself as a top-tier distributor of music and movies and other forms of entertainment that’ll now include the games GameFly sends out. GameFly apparently also has plans to adjust some of its subscriptions in the next few months following the acquisition. read more


The Gathering Extends Organized Play Suspension Through Commander Legends Prerelease

Wizards of the Coast is extending its suspension of Magic: The Gathering organized play events. The break started in March as an early response to the coronavirus pandemic. The company lengthened it in the months that followed. As COVID-19 continues to spread, Wizards of the Coast has chosen to extend the suspension through November 11th. The extension now includes prerelease events for Commander Legends, which already suffered a coronavirus-induced delay to its release. This news will disappoint Commander fans as Commander Legends is the first Commander-focused set designed for limited format play, but not all is lost. Wizards of the Coast will continue to offer kits for players to organize at-home prerelease events. read more
