Nvidia Launches The GeForce GT 1030, A Low-End Budget Graphics Card

Nvidia has released a new low-end graphics card in the GeForce GT 1030 for entry-level and budget-minded users. It’s the latest GPU within Nvidia’s 10 series (all equipped with the Pascal architecture), and is priced around $75.

The GTX 1030 provides a little more power than what an integrated graphics processor (IGP) offers and is targeted to those who mainly play less demanding games such as League of Legends or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Overwatch getting 10-hour birthday livestream in the middle of the night

Overwatch developer Blizzard wants to take part in the game’s upcoming anniversary celebration by hosting its own livestream event, but some fans will have to stay up pretty late for it.

If you were unhappy with Destiny‘s use of peer-to-peer connections, you might want to sit down for this one: Destiny 2 will not be getting dedicated servers, on either its console or PC versions.

While peer-to-peer connections have experienced a lot of negative press recently in games like For Honor, you can feel a little bit at ease to know that Bungie promises that it is aware of connectivity issues that faced the first Destiny and that “there is new tech coming,” according to PC lead David Shaw, although it’s too early to know what that tech is.… Read the rest

Fan-Designed Nintendo T-Shirts Picked By Miyamoto Now On Sale

Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo’s line of Nintendo-inspired t-shirts is now on sale.

The new collection, which features shirts based on Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and a host of other Nintendo properties, is the result of Uniqlo’s most recent T-Shirt Grand Prix. The annual contest asks fans to submit designs based on a particular theme; the winning designs would then be produced and sold at Uniqlo stores.
