After facing a delay, Agony, the crowdfunded horror title from Madmind Studios has been confirmed today for a May 29th launch date on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Alongside this announcement, Madmind has teased us with a couple new assets from the game, of which includes a brand new release trailer and a couple of in-game shots. Check out the trailer down below.
The players takes control of an unknown character who is thrown into hell. Without any memory of his/her past and the possession of a special ability which allows you to take control of other simple-minded characters, you have to navigate hell to find a way out.
You will begin your journey as a tormented soul within the depths of hell, without any memories about your past.
The special ability to control people on your path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives you the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions you are in.
By exploring the hostile environment and interacting with other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require meeting the mystical Red Goddess.
