It’s no secret that the Wii U was largely a failure for Nintendo, as the Kyoto-based game company has only been able to sell approximately 13.56 million units of the console since it was released in 2012. Fortunately, the Wii U’s successor, the Switch, has gotten off to a great start; so much so in fact, that Nintendo is forecasting that it will have outsold the Wii U by next Spring.
