Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just released a major midseason update, with exciting changes, features, nerfs, and buffs, as well as the brand new Rytek AMR sniper rifle. This weapon was leaked a short time ago, as can be seen in the clip below. What does the Rytek bring to the table that the AX-50 or HDR do not? Semi-Automatic shots, making it a nice bridge between the current sniper rifles, and the marksman rifles currently in the armory.
Infinity Ward didn’t want to just give the new sniper rifle away, however. Instead, players must achieve three quick scope kills in 15 different rounds to unlock this new rifle. The move seems like a ploy to encourage players to purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, so they will have access to the multiplayer modes. Getting three quick shot kills in Warzone seems like it could take a while, especially if Warzone Rumble falls off the playlist. While some players routinely use this firing method, it is a bit unconventional for most. Below, we’ll help even the most novice of snipers tackle a simple loadout to tackle those pesky quick shot challenges.
The best way to get started is to snatch up one of the recently buffed marksman rifles, acclaimed for their excellent aim down sight speeds. In our review, it seems that the Kar98 is probably one of the quickest aim down sight speed weapons available to most, and with a few attachments it will help players of all skill levels complete the challenge.
First, remove the barrel and muzzle if attached. Most come with some penalty to aim down sight speeds, increasing the difficulty of this challenge. Next, set up your weapon with the Stippled Grip Tape, a TAC laser, FTAC Sport Comb Stock, G.I. Mini Reflex, and Sleight of Hand. If you don’t have any of those, only add an alternate if it does not have a penalty to aim down sight speed.
Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
Laser: TAC laser
Stock: FTAC Sport Comb Stock
Optics: G.I. Mini Reflex
Perks: Sleight of Hand
After equipping the above, aim in the general vicinity of your prey, then quickly aim and immediately after fire, as JGOD does in the video above. As you can see, you don’t even need to let things fully zoom in, just aim+fire in almost one movement, then move on to the next kill. If you miss, sleight of hand lets you try again quickly amidst jumping, sliding, and ducking.
After 15 rounds, with at least three successful quick scope kills, the Rytek AMR will be unlocked, for your sniping pleasure.
