Australian committee declares loot boxes are a “way of exploiting gambling disorders”

Earlier this year, the Australian Senate approved an investigation into loot boxes to be held by the Environment and Communications References Committee. Today, the committee has reported the results of those findings, and the final word is not kind. Among other things noted in the results, the committee says “loot boxes provide games companies with an unregulated way of exploiting gambling disorders amongst their customers.” read more

Nvidia is binning RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti GPUs and selling the best to AIBs

Nvidia is reportedly binning Turing RTX GPUs to ensure the very best of the best chips make their way into factory overclocked graphics cards. The left over silicon is then being picked for reference-clocked SKUs.
