‘Mario + Rabbids’ Coming Soon

Arguably, one of E3’s biggest surprises this year must have been Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and on so many levels, the game simply screams (in some cases, literally) its own oddities. Now, it’s not unheard of for Mario to genre swap away from his traditional, 2D platformer roots – I mean, you can probably find a Mario game of any type: Mario sports, Mario racing, Mario RPGs, Mario puzzlers, Mario brawlers, Mario mobile, Mario this and Mario that. He’s everywhere, and that’s just Peachy (he had to find Peach in another castle, after all, so why not expand his own horizons? Pun entirely intended). read more


Over 40,000 Steam Accounts Banned For Cheating

Nathan Grayson wrote a shocking article on Kotaku today, explaining how a whopping 40,411 Steam accounts have been banned for cheating on games like Counter-Strike GO. Players risk nearly everything they own on Steam – literally – when taking chances with aim-bots and other hacks, but Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) can auto-detect even the best of them, so cheating is more or less asking to be permanently exiled from the popular gaming service. read more


‘Warframe’ Gets an Open-World Expansion

IGN discovered an announcement from Playstation Blog teasing an open-world expansion called ‘Plains of Eidolon’ for the hugely popular, third-person, online co-op game, Warframe. For those of you who haven’t heard of it, check out the website – it’s completely free-to-play, with an in-game shop that allows players to purchase different characters and gear. It’s been available on PS4, Xbox One and PC since March 25th, 2013. read more
