343 Industries Offers Gamers Free Pizza Skin On Halo 5: Guardians

Halo: The Master Chief Collection being announced for the PC platform is a big deal. This franchise has been around since the early years of the original Xbox and even saw a release on the PC platform, but as time went on the video games became more or less Xbox exclusives. When Microsoft revealed a few years ago that Xbox exclusives would become Microsoft exclusives meaning that gamers could enjoy Xbox One games on the Windows 10 platform, most of us were eager for Halo. 343 Industries New Program Offers Gamers Early Testing For Upcoming Halo Titles

Halo is a massive franchise and needless to say, both development studio 343 Industries along with Microsoft are looking to bring out each new installment a bit seamless with as few problems as possible. One way to ensure this is by offering a means for gamers to test out new features to even full games early before they launch for general public use. Previously, 343 Industries offered a means to do this with the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, but it looks like they are making some changes. For the old-school FPS fans who have played it, Blood is one of the most entertaining shooters ever made. The only problem is that it’s tough to play now using anything but DOSBox – and even that’s got many issues – which is why Night Dive Studios’ announcement of a Blood Remastered edition a few months ago was such a welcome one. Now it’s looking likely that the remaster will be released as soon as next month. read more

Resident Evil 2 has sold more Steam copies than Resident Evil 7

By all accounts, this year’s remake of Resident Evil 2 from Capcom has been enormously successful, and is one of the best games of the year so far. According to the publisher, it shipped over three million copies on all platforms in its first week alone, but we’re more interested in how Resident Evil 2 has sold on PC – especially how it compares, sales-wise, to the other Resident Evil games. read more

Star Wars Dark Forces is being remade in Unreal by an Obsidian dev

Star Wars Dark Forces is highly underrated when it comes to considering genre-changing FPSs. Aside from being the first Star Wars FPS, just two years after Doom (and a year before Duke Nukem 3D) it was adding innovations such as having a proper story, the ability to look up and down, and an impressive use of elevated terrain. It is, however, very difficult to play now, so it’s a good thing that there’s a Star Wars Dark Forces remake in the works. read more
