Among Us Reveals New Features, New Stage, and Server Improvements Coming Soon

Among Us 2 has been canceled, and there’s a good reason why. Among Us debuted back in 2018 from developer InnerSloth to little attention. Fast-forward to September 2020, it’s the hottest game on the Internet. Why? Well, it mostly comes down to Twitch streamers and YouTubers who recently picked up the game in a major way starting last month. This led to viewers en masse picking up the game, and because of the game’s quality, it has retained many of these players. The Dark Descent Goes Open Source

Developer Frictional Games has announced that the source code for Amnesia: The Dark Descent is now going open source. The source code for the beloved survival horror game can now be found on Github right here. In addition to the game’s code, Frictional Games has also released the sequel, A Machine for Pigs, as well. The decision was made in honor of the game’s 10th anniversary. Despite the release of the source code, the title will still be offered for sale through various online retailers. Frictional Games will retain all ownership of the game and its assets, and modders must adhere to the GPL3 license. In a press release, Frictional Games creative director Thomas Grip discussed the decision. read more


Kirby Fighters 2 Gets a Surprise Release on Nintendo Switch

Following the game’s accidental reveal, Nintendo has officially released Kirby Fighters 2 on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Kirby Fighters 2 is a fighting game for up to four players. In the game, players can choose from 17 different copy abilities spanning the entirety of the Kirby franchise, including Sword, Artist, Water, and more. In addition to the different copy abilities, players can also choose to play as some of Kirby’s iconic foes, such as Meta Knight, King Dedede, and more. Pokemon Cafe Mix’s New Update Adds First Ever Team Event

Pokemon Cafe Mix‘s latest update has added a new team function that allows players to work together to add new Pokemon to their staff. The first ever team event in the game will task teams with satisfying the hunger pangs of Snorlax! The event will kick-off on September 24th and will run through October 8th. Recruiting a team costs 300 Acorns, and the recruiter becomes the Team Captain. Players can build a team through people that are already on their friend list, or through other players. Making new friends in the game just might pay off, as more team events will be held in the future. read more


Fall Guys Reveals New Season 2 Level Featuring Big Yeetus’ “New Friend”

Fall Guys season 2 will feature a level with a new obstacle for players to contend with, and it looks like a more intimidating version of Big Yeetus. Big Yeetus was added in an update earlier this month, and it’s an item capable of providing great help or harm to players. Where Big Yeetus looks similar to a giant hammer, this new addition looks closer to a giant rolling pin covered in nasty spikes. The item certainly looks menacing, but the developers at Mediatonic aren’t really sure what to call it! The company has reached out via its Twitter account, giving fans the opportunity to provide a name for the new obstacle. read more
