It’s Infinity Ward’s turn to make the next Call of Duty – assuming the established three-studio rotation remains in place – and the developer’s communications manager Ashton Williams has probably been subtly teasing it since December.

According to noted CS:GO observer Nors3, the game drew 20,535,709 unique players last month. That’s the most it’s ever recorded, and double November’s numbers.

Google has published its own look back at 2018, including a list of the most-searched games of the year. The top ten list mostly consists the list of big-name, triple-A titles you’d expect, with one notable exception – a free browser-based battle royale that became a hit over the spring.
Dark Souls: Daughters of Ash is a massive mod that has been in development for ages, aiming to overhaul the game with new progression, new quests, new items, and new enemies.
