Logitech has announced a limited edition pink “PIXEL” Logitech G Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse. Starting in hot pink, Logitech will be launching a new colour of its top esports mouse each month. And the best bit? Not only do you net yourself something special – and the best gaming mouse going – all profits from the sales of PIXEL in pink and whatever colour is next will be split between three organisations: AbleGamers, The Abilities Research Center at Mount Sinai, and SpecialEffect.
All three charitable organisations played a part in the development of the Logitech G Adaptive Gaming Kit: a selection of buttons, switches, and hook and loop pads that can connect to the Xbox Adaptive Controller (XAC). The kit allows a greater number of people to enjoy the best titles available today without the usual tools available – and without huge upfront costs.
First available in hot pink, nicknamed PIXEL, the Logitech G Pro Wireless will soon be available in a range of colours – all arriving on a monthly basis. All profits from the sales of the first two limited edition colourways will go towards the three aforementioned charities.
“Our goal is to put fun and inclusion into the lives of gamers with accessibility needs,” Logitech’s press release reads. “Through the development of products and contributing where we can, we are looking to do our part to level the playing field, bringing families and friends together and having a positive impact on the lives of gamers everywhere.”
The release of the PIXEL has been set to coincide with International Day of Disabled Persons, December 3, 2019.
The Logitech G Pro Wireless is currently our favoured gaming utensil, with its ambidextrous, lightweight, and totally wire-free design rising above the rest in our in-house testing. It’s also a proven title-winning formula in the hands of esports professionals.
The PIXEL Logitech G Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse will be available for $150 from LogitechG.com.
And sorry for the low-res image, we’ll update once we’re provided with something better. You get the idea, anyways.
