With Overwatch League kicking off its first ever season, Game director Jeff Kaplan recently teased that League-themed skins would be added to Overwatch. Today Blizzard has launched the new content alongside the new skins.
Each of the league teams competing this season will have thier skins made available for all platforms and will become available with an update launching today. You’ll be able to gain access to the skins with a new type of currency introduced by blizzard. The plan behind the new currency is to essentially perform an extra stream of income for the competitors – no details have been given regarding the currency but we know that Blizzard will be taking a portion.
