Ryback Can’t Understand Why Vince McMahon Didn’t Let Him Face Brock Lesnar

Ryback’s post-WWE career has somehow been far more entertaining than anything he ever did in the ring, as it has turned into a regular look into the numerous ways Ryback believes he could have saved the company and made millions of dollars for Vince McMahon. And while a positive attitude is a good thing, when you take it too far it starts to sound like the delusional ravings of a madman. This week, Ryback was on Busted Open Radio and talked about how Vince McMahon denied him a match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, a match which Ryback was sure would break records and create a new golden age of wrestling. read more

Eric Bischoff Thinks Sasha-Charlotte Shouldn’t Be A Hell In A Cell Match

Former WCW President and Raw GM Eric Bischoff has had a history of brash statements that occasionally ignore logic and reality, and he decided to add to that reputation again this week, by stating during his podcast that he didn’t want to see Sasha Banks vs Charlotte in a Hell in a Cell match, for reasons that seem hard to define. Perhaps you can break the code: read more

WATCH: Trailer For Cody Rhodes’ Guest Appearance on ‘Arrow’

During his time in WWE, Cody Rhodes somehow managed to strike up a friendship with Stephen Amell, the star of the hit CW superhero show Arrow, leading to Amell actually making his in-ring debut in a tag team match against Cody (in his Stardust persona) at SummerSlam in 2015. Unfortunately, it didn’t lead to anything much for Stardust’s career, and Rhodes actually left WWE earlier this year after becoming frustrated with the direction of his career. However, in the meantime, Cody secured a role in an episode of Arrow, where it appears he’ll once again be playing a villain against Amell’s Green Arrow. Kota Ibushi Says He Won’t Sign A Full-Time Deal With WWE

There are many who believe that Kota Ibushi only lost the WWE Cruiserweight Classic because he refused to sign a contract with WWE, and they’re most likely correct. However, hope of seeing more of Ibushi in WWE was rekindled when he was revealed as part of a team with Hideo Itami in the upcoming NXT Dusty Rhodes Memorial Tag Team Classic. Unfortunately, Itami still hasn’t actually signed a full-time deal with WWE, and in a recent interview, he said (through a translator) that it’s definitely not in the cards: read more

Alberto Del Rio Attacked By Knife-Wielding Assailant Before First Post-WWE Match

The life of Alberto Del Rio has not gotten any less interesting since he left WWE a few weeks ago. On Sunday, it was reported that Del Rio (now known as Alberto El Patron) had no-showed the first major event he was scheduled to wrestle post-WWE, for AAA in Mexico, leading to an angry public statement from that company about how he had failed Mexican fans everywhere. Well, it turns out that Del Rio had a very good reason for missing his scheduled match: he was in a hospital receiving treatments for multiple slash wounds that he had received when someone attacked him with a knife outside a restaurant where he was eating.
