PUBG Xbox One Sold An Estimated 582,000 Retail Units During First Week

The first week of PUBG’s launch seemed quite fruitful for Microsoft. According to VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending December 16, PUBG sold an estimated  581,761 units at retail – this means that digital sales were not accounted for (we can assume that digital sales were likely much higher).

Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in the US with 349,684 units sold (60%), compared to 146,895 units sold in Europe (25%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 69,654 units in the UK, 19,986 units in Germany, and 11,667 units in France.
PUBG’s launch was met with mixed reviews, as a game still in preview, it was riddled with bugs and performance issues. Since the launch, PUBG Corp has been hard at work to iron out issues. As of right now, the final version doesn’t have a release date.
