RAGE 2, co-developed by id Software and Avalanche Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, is the sequel to the chaotic and apocalyptic first-person shooter RAGE. The game was revealed earlier this May, and since then the studio released a number of videos showcasing the game’s atmosphere and gameplay. The title was within Bethesda’s lineup for the ongoing QuakeCon 2018, and it received an extended gameplay trailer.
The trailer featured several of the new weapons, factions and even landscapes. The previous instalment was mainly played in a Mad Max-inspired wasteland, however, even from the few minutes we got to see from the upcoming instalment in this video, it shows a number of different landscapes, varying from lush forests and jungles to mountains and deserts. A number of different factions were showed in the trailer, each has their own unique combat style and weapons. Towards the end of the trailer, you’ll get to see some abilities used in an shootout scene.
Dive headfirst into a dystopian world without society, law, and order. Rage 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and Id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – to deliver carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.
