Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s season 3 expansion, Operation Grim Sky, adds two new operators. Clash and Maverick, a defender and an attacker respectively.
Clash is naturally a defender, serving as one of Territorial Support Group controlling the 2011 London Riots. After her valiant display of courage and professionalism, she later served with the Specialist Firearms Command.
She’s an expert at devising crowd-control strategies and she even acquired special permission to attend Gold Command meetings. She later made Detective Constable. Her experience, service record and persistence in her line of work got her noticed by Rainbow Six.
As for Maverick, he was sent on a mission to find and retrieve a missing journalist. Unfortunately, he was kidnapped during the mission and went missing for two years, suddenly re-appearing with a new personality and never leaves his D.I.Y. blowtorch behind.
No one knows what really happened to him during those two years, but he’s been seen carrying a D.I.Y. blowtorch ever since, one that can make holes in metal surfaces. On the field, he’s found multiple uses for it, including but not limited to making murder holes. It takes a patient and fast Operator like Maverick to hold those angles.
Below are trailers for Clash and Maverick respectively. The Rainbow Six Siege Major eSports tournament is currently underway in Paris, and recently, the studio decided to crack down on more than 1,300 boosted accounts as well as upgrading their anti-cheat policies.
