Rainbow Six Siege Year 4 Season 2 is officially named Operation Phantom Sight. Ubisoft dropped the title today with another official teaser, and it matches with the leaks we’ve heard about Nøkk and Warden, the reported names for the new operators – one goes phantom with a cloaking device, and the other has sight through smokes and flashbangs.
The new teaser gives us a look at Nøkk, in thoroughly spooky style. She’s definitely got some kind of stealth-focused ability, and the teaser shows her creeping through an aquatic, sewer-like setting. The official blog post gives a bit of backstory, and a quick description of Nøkk’s gadget: “the HEL, which she worked on to improve with specialist Grace ‘Dokkaebi’ Nam, makes Nøkk nothing short of a ghost, and leaves her opponents looking over their shoulders.”
As expected, the full reveal for the new season is set for Pro League Finals coming up this weekend on May 19. Another teaser earlier this week gave us our first official look at the Y4S2 operators, though there have been plenty of unofficial glimpses up to this point – as we tend to expect from new Rainbow Six Siege operators. Officially, we know we’ve got a US and Danish operator coming in this update, alongside a rework for the Kafe map.
