Rare Games upcoming Xbox One exclusive, Sea of Thieves, is one of the most anticipated upcoming titles, and what a way to build up more hype than to get people to solve pirate riddles for a chance to win a £80,000 value of golden bananas.
During the game’s first closed beta session, it managed to gather more than 300 thousand players, who collectively accumulated over 2 million hours of gameplay. Not only that, Sea of Thieves recently received its own Xbox One S bundle, priced at $299.99. Now back to the competition. Rare collaborated with the highly-respected London goldsmiths Smith & Harris, mostly known for the Kate Moss Siren, to bring to life a pair of golden bananas to give to the winner of this “digital treasure hunt.” The competition’s first riddle of 15 goes live on March 19th at 8:00AM GMT.
