There’s plenty of information we’re waiting to hear about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The video game was highly anticipated for quite a while and this past weekend we finally got our hands on the first trailer. We’re sure that there is plenty of details that developers Respawn Entertainment along with publishers EA are waiting to reveal, but so far we do know that there are some open world elements attached. We’re still coming off from the announcement trailer, but new listings for the game has gone up that details what gamers can expect from pre-ordering the title.
For starters, we know that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is based after the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Players will be taking on the role of a young padawan that managed to survive Order 66, an order that executed Jedi from all around the galaxies. However, because our protagonist, Cal, is a survivor, he must complete his training in secret. In a new listing post from the Microsoft store, we know that Cal is working to bring back the Jedi order and during his journey, he will have help from a former Jedi Knight, a cantankerous pilot along with a droid.
The Galaxy Awaits – Ancient forests, windswept rock faces, and haunted jungles are all unique biomes you’ll explore in Jedi: Fallen Order, with the freedom to decide when and where you go next. As you unlock new powers and abilities, opportunities open up to re-traverse maps in new ways; leveraging the Force to augment the way you explore. Move quickly, however, as the Empire is actively hunting your every step in their effort to exterminate all remnants of the Jedi Order.
One element you may be interested about for the game is that it appears players will have some say in where Cal journey takes him. For instance, in the listing, it states that players will have the freedom to decide where and when you head to different locations. Likewise, you may revisit locations after you have gained some of your force abilities to further explore certain areas.
We’re hoping that more information is revealed soon but in the meantime, it looks like developers Respawn Entertainment are looking to release the game in November for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
