We’re still a few months away from the release of Borderlands 3, which means it’s the perfect time to revisit Borderlands 2. That could mean checking out that new DLC, just running through a vanilla replay, or digging into some Borderlands 2 mods. If you were hoping to make use of one of the game’s most popular modpacks, be advised – development on Borderlands 2 Reborn has come to an end.

Borderlands 3 releases later this year, but that doesn’t mean that Gearbox is finished with its predecessor just yet. New DLC for the game was leaked via Steam.DB last night, taking fans back to Sanctuary one final time.
Borderlands 3 might be the new kid on the block, but it looks as though the series has been doing pretty well for itself over the past few years. It’s been nearly seven years since Borderlands 2 released, but Gearbox says that it’s still pulling in a healthy player count.
Gearbox has been teasing a number of reveals at a PAX East panel later this month, and the latest looks a lot like Borderlands 2. After putting out teasers for what’s (almost) certainly Borderlands 3 and an apparent brand-new game, the latest preview image looks pretty familiar. Given the reports we’ve already heard about a Borderlands remaster, the implications seem obvious – though there are some wrinkles to this one.
A sitcom about game development is in development, has a cast, and perhaps most shockingly of all, might be good. It’s coming courtesy of Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day, stars and creative voices of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. McElhenney has a major role, and the rest of the cast includes everyone from Community’s Danny Pudi to nerd superstar Ashly Burch.
