SummerSlam is in the books, which means we’re basically at the halfway point in the wrestling year. That’s right, it’s all downhill to WrestleMania from here. Figuratively, and hopefully not literally, anyway. And even though WWE is in some form of semi-controlled chaos due to the brand extension and being forced to crown two Universal Champions within the first two weeks of the title’s existence, there are still some thing we’ve seen that have led us to make a reasonable assumptions about where things could go if WWE was currently being booked with WrestleMania in mind. And we can’t prove that it’s not, so we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt (this time), and assemble a list of matches that we think could possibly happen at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando.

SummerSlam in one of the longest-running Pay Per Views in WWE history, and one of the original “Big Four”, along with WrestleMania, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble. And as you’d expect with any PPV with an extensive history, there have been more than a few incredible matches which have taken place at this event over the years, from technical masterpieces, to the most ridiculous gimmick matches ever seen. For your consideration, we’ve gathered up what we believe are the absolute best matches to take place at SummerSlam over its lifetime, and there are a lot of them. Honestly, if you’ve never seen any of the matches on this list, make sure you remedy that, and soon.
In the wake of collaborations with Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones, it looks like WWE has put their fingerprints all over another animated franchise, with this sequel to the fairly successful 2007 family movie about penguins who surf. For the sequel, Cody Maverick, the main character from the original, teams up with a group of surfers all voiced by WWE Superstars, including John Cena, The Undertaker, Paige, Triple H, and Mr. McMahon. We can’t even imagine how that works, but the Scooby-Doo movies weren’t bad, so this might be worth your time too!
