In the last hours today, The Last of Us 2 trophies have been leaked that will be introduced with version 1.03 update of the game, and which apparently will add two interesting new features that we will see in detail now.
The Twitter user PowerPyx has in fact managed to become aware of two of the trophies coming within the next patch of the Naughty Dog title, closely linked to some of the unreleased content not yet available in the base game. These are the Grounded difficulty and Permadeath mode.
The details on both the features remain very few, but we can already have an idea of what we can expect in the future from the American studio. The grounded difficulty could be a new, higher difficulty that will give players even more trouble, considering that the story, once completed with it, will provide the player with an ultra-rare trophy.
According to the leaked details, it seems that enemies in the title will deal much more damage to the protagonist, and additionally, supplies are more difficult to find and you won’t be able to even use the listening mode.
Permadeath mode, on the other hand, is most likely a mode that will not allow us to come back to life once defeated, precisely leading the user to meet a permanent death. Surely this goal will be difficult to achieve, so we are curious to know what players will be able to do in the future.
