Back 4 Blood is hiring! The developers at Turtle Rock have announced that they want to add more story content, new missions, and new characters to the thrilling Co-Op zombie shooter game, and would like to hire more than 20 developers to help them do so.
The newest expansion to Back 4 Blood and Chapter 5 is just around the corner, and the developers seem to have ample ideas in mind for the game’s players. With that said, the devs have posted more than 20 different developer jobs to their site, where they specifically mention that they are looking to create new missions and characters for their game.
While there are several different positions currently available, such as engineering, animation, and production, they also include a Lead Writer role. In the ad for the lead position, they state that they want to work very closely with their new employee to, and I quote, “create and oversee compelling stories, characters, and content that form the backbone of Back 4 Blood’s story.”
They have also added a Senior Systems Designer role to their job board, where they are looking for someone to “Design and prototype unique gameplay systems with a focus on game feel, scalability, and player experience.” The role description also states that this person will actively participate in playtests to give the developers feedback and evaluate what they have updated thus far, which is a pretty sweet gig.
The newest update to the game looks tantalizing, to say the least. The devs posted a teaser image to Twitter that shows just a tiny bit of what’s to come in Act 5. It looks as though there will be some form of Cult involved, as the photo shows the cleaners standing before a large cult-like compound. While there has not been much in terms of information revealed about Act 5, we now know that there is plenty more to come with these new positions and roles opening up within the company. This leaves a lot of room for story development, as well as new and amazing content and features for players to get excited for.
All of the currently available positions are listed on their website for anyone who is interested. Some of the work available is remote, but a vast majority is within their Lake Forest office in California.
