During Nala’s in the Dark, the lioness will ask you to lower the big log near the waterfall, but she doesn’t explain exactly where it is or how to move it.

When you face the waterfall, it might not be that obvious either, so you could spend some time searching for it.

The log in question can be found directly left of the waterfall and upward. You’ll have to turn your camera up so you can see it jutting out from the rockface (pictured above).

Once you find the log, you can take the steps to lower it. But again, Nala doesn’t tell you how and you might find yourself pretty perplexed. To lower the log near the waterfall, equip your Royal Pickaxe

Once you have your Royal Pickaxe equipped, approach the base of the log by walking across the stone pathway on the riverbed. You’ll notice there’s a boulder that you can interact with underneath the log. Swing your pickaxe at the boulder to lower the log.
