Uninstall Third Party Anti Cheat Software

If you have other games that use EAC software of their own on your PC, then they could be incompatible with the EA software and create errors. Currently, there are two possible types of EAC software that you may need to uninstall:

  • Riot Vanguard.

You can uninstall either one or both of them by following these steps:

  1. Press “Start” button.

  3. Select “Apps” tab.
  4. Go to “Apps & Features” section.
  5. Highlight “FaceIT Anti-Cheat” and/or “Riot Vanguard“.
  6. Click on the three dots button.
  7. Press the “Uninstall” button.

Once the process is over, restart your PC and start FIFA 23 once again to see if the error has disappeared.

Turn Off Anti Cheat Software

If you don’t want to uninstall the EAC software, then you can disable it using the following method:

  1. Press Win+R key combination.
  2. Type in “services.msc” and press Enter.
  3. Right-click on Easy Anti-Cheat.
  4. Select “Properties” from the list.
  5. Set the launch order to “Disable” or “Manual“.
  6. Save and exit.

You may also need to restart your PC for this action to take effect. That’s all you need to know on how to fix the EA Anti-Cheat error in FIFA 23. Hopefully one of these fixes works for you.
