Marvel’s Midnight Suns Deadpool DLC Dated & Detailed

Today 2K Games and Firaxis provided new details and a release date for the first DLC coming to Marvel’s Midnight Suns

The DLC is titled “The Good, The Bad, and The Undead” and it features the merc with a mouth himself, Deadpool, who will become a playable character to add to your roster of Marvel superheroes. Unsurprisingly, he’s a damage-dealing-focused hero, and he comes with his own complement of 10 unique Hero abilities.

The package, which releases on January 26, comes with more than the new character. Specifically, it also includes new story missions, an upgrade for the Abbey, and a bunch of cosmetics for Deadpool himself.

Of course, if you have the Season Pass or the Legendary Edition, you won’t need to pay extra for the DLC. We already know that the Season Pass will include three more heroes (and anti-heroes), Venom, Morbius & Storm. At the moment, we don’t know when those will join the team.

In the meanwhile, you can check out the trailer featuring Deadpool and the content coming with him below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Marvel’s Midnight Suns, it’s a turn-based tactical RPG somehow similar in gameplay to Firaxis’ how XCOM series, but with a few twists added. You get to lead a squad of Marvel superheroes against an otherworldly threat, and it’s the first-ever game that lets you create and customize your very own Marvel hero or heroine.

It’s currently available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while the previously-announced PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions have been delayed to a later (not yet announced) date. If you’d like to know whether the game is worth your hard-earned money or not, you can read our review
