Today 2K Games and Firaxis released a new video for the first DLC coming to Marvel’s Midnight Suns, focusing on Deadpool.
If you’ve followed the promotion of the game before its release, this kind of video will prove familiar, as it provides a deep dive into Deadpool’s abilities In the game, explaining how he can use his powers to deal a ton of damage both to single and multiple enemies.
We learn about the “En Fuego” stacks that are obtained by wreaking havoc on enemy units and are used to power up his abilities, and how Deadpool works best with other heroes that can draw attention away from him or protect him from damage.
Funnily, Deadpool needs very little heroism to be effective, which is very appropriate considering that he doesn’t make such an effort to be specifically “heroic.”
You can learn more by watching the video below.
Deadpool will be added to the game with the DLC titled “The Good, The Bad, and The Undead,” releasing on all eligible platforms on January 26.
Of course, if you have the Season Pass or the Legendary Edition, you won’t need to pay extra for the DLC. We already know that the Season Pass will include three more heroes (and anti-heroes), Venom, Morbius & Storm. At the moment, we don’t know when those will join the team.
If you’re unfamiliar with Marvel’s Midnight Suns, it’s a turn-based tactical RPG somehow similar in gameplay to Firaxis’ how XCOM series, but with a few twists added. You get to lead a squad of Marvel superheroes against an otherworldly threat, and it’s the first-ever game that lets you create and customize your very own Marvel hero or heroine.
It’s currently available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while the previously-announced PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions have been delayed to a later (not yet announced) date. If you’d like to know whether the game is worth your hard-earned money or not, you can read our review.
