Microsoft Flight Simulator Free Airbus A380 Gets Spectacular Video Showing a Beautiful Bird

Today third-party developers shared quite a lot of interesting news and releases of add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including aircraft and scenery.

We start with prominent freeware developer FlyByWire, which released an extensive video showing off its Airbus A380

We get to see about ten minutes of footage displaying basically everything, including the exterior, the flight deck, the cabin, the EFB, the animations, and more. What makes the deal even sweeter is that this massive airliner will be free, albeit it doesn’t yet have a release date.

Next, is another video coming from FlightFX. This time around, we get to see the animations of the Cessna 750 Citation X announced a few days ago.

We then get new screenshots and a tentative release date for the Beechcraft 60 Duke by Black Square, on top of downloadable manuals for the turbine and piston versions. At the moment, the plan is to launch both versions on April 8.

No screenshots but another tentative release date comes for the F-5E Tiger II by SC Designs. We hear that it should launch on March 21.

Moving on to releases, Backwood Studios launched Shady Cove Airpark (OG31) in Oregon, United States. It’s available on Orbx Direct for $7.03 with the following features.

  • Road texturing throughout the city and beyond.

Spinoza released Herrenteich Airport (EDEH) in Hockenheim, Germany.

SXAirportDesign released Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (KBHM) in Alabama, United States. It’s available on Simmarket for $19.93 with the following features.
