This was the longest trailer that showed absolutely nothing to me. As someone who played the originals when they came out and I’ve missed playing a few titles across the years this told me nothing but the fact they’re on the run from umbrella. It’s an RE title and I didn’t see one zombie in an entire 3:42 trailer. Maybe I’m missing something but something’s fucked up I hope they figure out how to really produce a trailer for this title because after 20-30 plus years you’d think they’d have their shit together

I played the first three chapters on PlayStation, and maybe I’m wrong, but in my opinion, Resident Evil owes its success to the urban setting of titles 2 and 3. Raccoon City—with its ruined streets and constant tension—made the experience unforgettable. Capcom seems to have overlooked how powerful that atmosphere was… and maybe that’s why they haven’t been able to match that impact since.
What we see today isn’t Resident Evil anymore—it’s something else. A new identity born with the seventh chapter and the story of Ethan Winters. A solid game, no doubt, but it’s not Resident Evil. p.s. Does anyone have any doubts that the monster seen in the demo is none other than the presumed dead mother?

It all looked great up until the guy got his throat slit. I don't understand why there is this need to make the blood so over exaggerated and look like an explosion. God, this irritates me. Make the blood more realistic if you want to focus on horror now.
