Stardew Valley Mods That Make The Game Even Better

Stardew Valley is an amazing game in its own right but these mods can make your adventure even better.

Stardew Valley player SeriousDirt shared a look at their JojaMart remodel of Pierre’s General Store. The independently owned shop offers seeds, saplings, fertilizers, and more to assist the player in expanding their farm and making a life for themself in the countryside of Stardew Valley. However, the larger supermarket in town, JojaMart, is in constant competition with Pierre and offers a cheaper alternate route for progression in Stardew Valley. Pierre, who is considered polarizing among some members of the Stardew Valley community, became the target of a bit of Joja trolling, thanks to Update 1.6. The massive patch now allows players to place furniture items in NPC homes and shops, making for the perfect redecorating opportunity for humorous fans. Utilizing JojaMart branded carpets, crates, shopping carts, and even a Joja Cola fridge, SeriousDirt redesigned Pierre’s shop in a hilarious homage to his most despised competitor.

Gameplay Changes In Stardew Valley Update 1.6

Improvements to the game’s customization options, including the addition of NPC homes being accessible for furniture and item placement, are among the key gameplay changes made in Stardew Valley Update 1.6. Other notable fixes include updates to movement during harvesting and combat, changes to pet collisions, and the already infamous drinkable mayonnaise. In addition, Stardew Valley Update 1.6 changed Clint’s Shop for the better, allowing players to have tools upgraded without locking themselves out of getting geodes processed or buying blacksmithing materials. Players have enjoyed getting to experience these gameplay changes, as well as explore all the new content, with overwhelmingly positive response shown to Stardew Valley.

Update 1.6 has already pushed the beloved indie farming sim to new heights, with Stardew Valley breaking player count records. From new JojaMart branded furniture to enhanced gameplay mechanics, players continue to find new things to love about Stardew Valley.
