Dinosaurs, cards, and bolters: PS+ members are getting a solid lineup of games this May.
Sony has revealed the lineup of games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential in May 2025, and it’s a solid mix. We’ve got last year’s card sensation, a generous helping of Warhammer 40,000 chaos, and for dessert, a bit of survival in the lost world of dinosaurs. Is it a perfect combo meal for the weeks ahead?

All three titles will be available to subscribers starting May 6 and will stick around until June 2. Here’s the full PS+ Essential May 2025 lineup:
While waiting for ARK 2, fans can sink their teeth into ARK: Survival Ascended—a rebuilt-from-the-ground-up version of the original, now running on Unreal Engine 5. The developers have delivered upgraded visuals, a new physics system, and an overhauled UI, but the reception from the community has been mixed. On the other end of the spectrum is Balatro, a global hit and one of 2024’s biggest surprises. This roguelike deck-builder stole hearts (and hours) of countless players. Rounding out the trio is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, a very good retro FPS where you’ll take on the forces of Chaos.
