Wishlisted and alert-tracked games are now easier to spot

A new blue highlight now makes the games you’re following stand out more clearly while browsing.

We’ve just rolled out a small but highly requested usability improvement on GG.deals. From now on, games that you’ve either wishlisted or added alerts for are highlighted with a subtle blue glow across the site. This makes it much easier to scan any list and instantly spot the titles you’re already tracking.

Glowing for wishlist or alerts

This change comes directly from user feedback. The idea to make tracked games more noticeable was one of our most upvoted feature requests, gathering 132 votes. Many users felt their wishlisted or alert-tracked titles blended in too easily during large sales or long browsing sessions.

From now on, if a game is either wishlisted or has a price alert, it will receive the new blue glow. The highlight makes tracked titles pop out immediately when scrolling through long lists or busy sale pages. Even though wishlisted titles and games with alerts share the same highlight, you can still easily tell them apart thanks to the heart and bell icons.

Cleaner wishlist icons

To support the new highlight, we also refined how the wishlist heart behaves. Games that aren’t on your wishlist no longer display an empty heart by default, which reduces unnecessary visual noise. The empty heart now appears only on hover, while wishlisted titles continue to show the filled heart normally. This small tweak keeps the layout cleaner and puts more emphasis on the games you’re actually tracking.
