- A Space for the Unbound is slated for an early April release date
- Keep your eye out for this pre-apocalyptic adventure
- Experience the lives of protagonists Atma and Raya, a pair of high-school sweethearts
As we head into spring and with the weather now firmly on the not-freezing end of the scale, there’s still a few top releases to keep an eye on. One of these is the pre-apocalyptic, high-school sweetheart romance A Space for the Unbound, and excitingly enough it seems to be set for a very near release date on the 4th of April!
Set in rural Indonesia during the 1990s, A Space for the Unbound follows the story of high-school sweethearts Atma and Raya. If you’re worrying this’ll be some dry tween melodrama however, don’t worry, because with the world about to end from a supernatural apocalypse the stakes are sky-high.
You’ll get to explore rural Indonesia and interact with the various inhabitants of our two protagonists’ hometowm. Dive into NPCs minds, Inception-style, and experience strange supernatural events as the end draws ever closer.
Boundless
As Dann pointed out way back in October last year, it seems that Balatro had kickstarted a wave of ports coming to mobile. Now I don’t necessarily subscribe to that conclusion (I think that it’s been a long time coming) but I’d hardly dispute that, while indies like those behind A Space for the Unbound have been quietly innovating in the background, Balatro certainly showed how much of a goldmine mobile was.
Of course with that comes the worry, at least for me, that smaller releases like A Space for the Unbound that don’t necessarily have the world-shaking indie reputation may be forgotten.
