This metroidvania isn’t all gloom and doom.
Rejoice, gamers, it’s Thursday again, which means a new freebie on the Epic Games Store. This week’s giveaway is DOOMBLADE, a fast-paced metroidvania.
The game follows Gloom Girl, who discovers a powerful sentient weapon known as DOOMBLADE. With their fates now intertwined, the two set out on a journey to restore the weapon’s lost powers and take revenge on those who wronged it.
Along the way, you’ll face off against monstrous enemies, unlock a variety of abilities and special moves, and explore interconnected, dangerous environments. While DOOMBLADE doesn’t reinvent the genre, it still delivers plenty of fun.
