One of them is the remake of the truly legendary entry in the franchise, while the other is a completely new installment. Lock, load, and get ready for some raiding!
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is coming next year
If it were a menu item, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis would be a visually stunning and highly refreshing starter. Launching in 2026 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, it is a head-to-toe remake of the very first game in the franchise, originally released back in 1996. The remake will take advantage of Unreal Engine 5 to bring the visuals and gameplay mechanics up to modern standards. Fingers crossed that Crystal Dynamics manages to avoid issues with poor optimization.

With its vibrant culture, rich history, and rich folklore, it’s sure to deliver a vivid and memorable experience. The game is still deep in development, and the trailer didn’t reveal any gameplay footage, so we’ll have to wait for more details.
