Duet Night Abyss has kicked off its Closed Beta Test with brand new features and an enhanced experience

  • The first CBT features new characters and storylines
  • Novel gameplay features include co-op mode, pet system, and roguelike mechanics
  • Deeper customisation options also introduced

Pan Studio has just released the first Closed Beta Test for Duet Night Abyss, now available on both PC and mobile. Running until February 28th, this beta offers an expanded experience with new characters, voice acting, and gameplay features. Along with co-op mode, roguelike mechanics, and a pet system, the update brings more customisation options for weapons and characters.

Duet Night Abyss’ CBT1 introduces several characters with distinct designs and dedicated storylines. Fina, Hellfire, Randy, Margie, Yale, Oliver, and Sibylle are now available, with voice acting in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Each character will also be seen sporting a demon horn aesthetic. If you played last year’s technical test, you’ll notice more narrative depth this time around.

Customisation options now offer more freedom, letting you craft melee and ranged weapons while adjusting their colours. You can also personalise character accessories, adding more style to your journey. The weapon colouring system further allows for a range of combinations, making it easy to match your combat style with a distinct look.

In addition, the new pet system introduces companions who can influence battles by providing buffs or assisting with attacks. The Multiplayer co-op mode on the other hand lets you team up with up to three friends to take on challenges together. Whether you dive into battle with your companion or your buddies, you’re assured to never be alone.

Roguelike mechanics bring more thrill to each session. This mode operates separately from the main progression, offering random buffs after each battle. You can choose different enhancements and encounter unpredictable events, making every run feel different. Buff combinations allow for flexible strategies, encouraging you to experiment and refine your approach.
